Mid June, 2025

I brought the Minolta Maxxum 600si, with a 50mm f1.4 lens, and a 100mm-200mm zoom lens (f4.5 or something). I started with a roll of Kodak Ultramax 400.

Rachel and Willi hosted for Rachel’s birthday, and scheduled a boat ride where we by chance got to see Orcas in the wild. This was apparently the first time that the Orcas had come that far into the Puget Sound in over 15 years.

I then switched to Fuji 400, but somehow a lot of photos turned out overexposed. Some of them are worth it for the subjects.

This was the best shot of the Orcas.

Maybe the Fuji roll was heat-affected or expired or something.
